Haus Ventures is a dedicated, owner operated building maintenance company with over 20 years experience. I personally handle everything from repairs and maintenance to decks, landscaping, fencing, kitchen design/installation and bathroom renovations . Focused on quality and innovation, I serve homeowners and light commercial clients who value reliable, top quality service and attention to detail.
About the Owner
James Poninghaus, Director and founder of Haus Ventures, brings a diverse background in construction and project management. With a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a licensed building practitioner he started his career building residential and light commercial properties, then managed multi-million dollar developments. Passionate about adding value to homes, James specialises in maintenance, renovations and innovated design solutions. His expertise in sourcing quality materials and his love for improving spaces allow him to deliver practical, impactful results- small jobs that make a big difference. With over 20 years experience, James's focus is on quality, flexibility and helping clients enhance and fix their properties and lives.​​

HOBBIES​

James is passionate about mountain biking and competes in race events annually, he loves hiking, snowboarding , playing tennis, surfing and staying active at the gym. These pursuits keep James energised and inspired, both personally and professionally.
